STORY
The Olympic games involved much more than the competition. The tradition was ritualistic, bringing the games into religious sacred spaces where competitors and viewers could honor the space and integrity of the sport. Not only do our Atlis Ornamentum collections envoke the past’s glamour combining with modern chic they also offer the necessary elements of fun and engagement.

THE PROCESS
A natural pairing in ideals and culture, we have had the pleasure to work with artists who elevate our concepts and represent their communities. Our dedicated pieces are fully executed by the artist, but you can see handiwork from other artists throughout our other pieces, like the hand-woven net of the Lux Mini Hoops.
Each artifact has signs of historic moments of play with a veil of whimsy that delights. Thought-out details explore the bounds of color, geometry, and materiality. In true collaboration, we work deeply with each artist inviting them into our Altis to make it their own.

Miami-based artist Omar Fajardo has spent the past 15 years learning and practicing techniques from around the world in various mediums including textiles, design, ceramics, to photography in his work. He is inspired by global cultures and loves to feature juxtaposing themes and materials in his work. His work has been featured in various galleries and collections including Art Basel and multiple hotels in the city.
This hand-crafted art piece is a perfect representation of the boxing match; its playful colors and shapes as well as silhouette float like a butterfly, while its durable materials and fierce subject matter sting like a bee. While this collectors item can take the punches, we encourage you treat it like an art piece.

She adds depth to her installations through thoughtful graphic design, promotion, and collateral material. She views her work in lucite, terrazzo, Tibetan lamb and mixed media as a practice in preservation, serving to document our time on Earth for future generations.
The twin pops seesaw is part of the Noelle’s pop-up park series created to inspire play. A perfect match to our world of ping pong, basketball, and sports aesthetic together we designed a Day-inspired seesaw. The seesaw is not only intended for children, but designed for adults, as well.
